Delivering Results

Designing Business Processes

Efficient processes are not only important in keeping operating costs under tight control but are also an essential contributor to the quality of the customer experience – and hence their loyalty to the site

Real TSP's revenue-incentivised business model ensures that process design and business process re-engineering are part of our core strengths. We bring these skills to all our clients, whether they require a B2C or a B2B solution.

Catalogue building

Real TSP has extensive experience in industry best practice for catalogue build. We work with our clients to migrate content – catalogue and non-product related – to their new or improved site. As much work as possible is done by transferring data directly from one database to the other.

Fulfilment

Prior to (re)-launching the online store, we work closely with our clients to design a process for fulfilment. This process needs to deal with all of the potential issues that may arise, such as:

  • requests to change/cancel the order
  • stock problems
  • returns/exchanges
  • non-delivery of items

We prepare schedules detailing the company's policy on different types of queries, together with clear instructions (for all those staff involved in fulfilment including customer services and finance) on each step of the fulfilment process.

Real Commerce forms a central hub, interconnecting with the different systems each of which handle an essential part of the process including inventory management, the payment service provider, courier companies and customer facing applications.

Fraud prevention

Fraud is not an issue for our clients. The number of fraudulent orders placed on their sites is minimal and on the rare occasion that one slips past the checks, the client is protected from the chargeback. We achieve this by implementing effective business rules to screen orders as they are placed, and to pick up potential fraudulent orders – without inhibiting or restricting the flexibility of the business. We use automated blacklisting tools (within Real Commerce) to flag potential fraudulent cards, addresses and postcodes and implement 3DSecure to pass liability for chargebacks from the retailer to the bank.
