Real Commerce is delivered according to the SaaS (software as a service) model – but with significantly more value for our clients

In common with the SaaS model, the Real Commerce platform is provided as a hosted service, with all maintenance, ongoing operation and support being provided by Real TSP, rather than being the responsibility of our clients. Our clients can focus on their core business rather than being distracted by technology-related issues.

However, Real TSP takes the SaaS model and adds a great deal more.

Performance incentivised

Typically SaaS providers have no incentive to improve the commercial performance of their client's solution. In contrast, the commercial success of our clients is fundamental to Real TSP's business philosophy. Our revenue share model means that we are constantly striving to improve the performance of our software and services to increase the revenue of our clients.

Customised solutions

SaaS providers like to keep their software as standard as possible with every client having the same solution as this makes it easier and cheaper to run the service. Real TSP takes the opposite stance. Our aim is to customise the Real Commerce platform and the individual modules to deliver a tailor-made, flexible solution to meet the individual needs of each of our clients.

Monthly upgrades

However we want to ensure that all our clients gain the commercial benefit from any technical development we do. To achieve this we operate a monthly upgrade programme where all technical developments from each client are shared out to those others for whom the development is relevant. This unique programme is only possible because of our reliance on Open Source technology.

Technology should pay for itself

Real TSP's software development is prioritised and powered by the requirements of our clients. No developments are taken in isolation or purely for technical reasons. Our driving ambition is to ensure that our software provides our clients with the greatest possible return on their investment, in the shortest possible time. And our commitment to this approach is underpinned by our incentivised approach to fee-earning. The better our clients' software performs, the more we are rewarded.
